Peseiro observed as Walter Musona and Kelechi Iheanacho goals sealed a 1-1 draw between Nigeria and Zimbabwe at Huye Stadium in Rwanda.

After a 1-1 draw with Lesotho a few days prior, the Super Eagles have now lost both of their opening two games in the World Cup qualifying series against Zimbabwe.

Peseiro noted that the lengthy traveling contributed to the outcome during the press conference held after the game.

As stated by Peseiro, “The players didn’t rest enough for quick play at the same level because it was a tough, difficult trip from Nigeria in the flight, many hours.”
