Trabzonspor of the Turkish Super Lig has agreed to sign Nigerian attacker Paul Onuachu on a permanent transfer.
Onuachu, it has been reported out of Turkey, has signed a four-year contract with Trabzonspor.
However, negotiations between the former Turkish Super Lig champions and his Sky Bet Championship, Southampton, continue.
On Friday, the striker was set to join Ligue 1 club Metz, but the transfer fell through at the last minute.
Onuachu joined Southampton in January after leaving KRC Genk of the Belgian Pro League.
The 29-year-old made 12 league appearances for the Saints but never scored.
The South Coast club has yet to see him play this year.
