Obaseki wants the backing of the traditional ruler to produce a worthy successor

Godwin Obaseki, the governor of Edo State, encouraged Auchi’s Otaru, Aliru Momoh, to assist him in his efforts to produce a deserving successor on Tuesday.

Obaseki issued the call during the 27th Auchi Day celebration, which took place in the town that serves as the Etsako West Local Government Area’s administrative hub.

Dada Abubakar, the Commissioner for Youths and Humanitarian Affairs, on behalf of the governor, also begged the people and the royal father to work with him so that he may finish strong and healthy.

“I beg you to help us find a deserving successor who will elevate Edo to the top of the nation,” stated Obaseki.

The governor declared that his government had accomplished much in Auchi and that, in the days left in office, he would do even more for the locals.

“As a government, we have accomplished a lot in Auchi Sacred Kingdom, including the conversion of Igbe Road into a mini-stadium, the upgrading of Ikelebe Sports Arena to a specialist hospital, and the control of erosion at Auchi Central Hospital.”

Obaseki also mentioned the Auchi water facility reticulation water supply plan, the Lassa fever isolation treatment center, and the Bishop Court Road, GRA development.

The Otaru’s serene and cooperative demeanor in handling the business of his kingdom was highly praised by the governor.
