Adedeji’s tenure as the Commissioner of Finance in Oyo State at the age of 33, CEO of the National Sugar Development Council, NSDC, Special Adviser to the President on Revenue, and Chief Executive Officer of the nation’s main tax authority, according to Tinubu, speak volumes about his talent.
“Zacch is an innovator who consistently transforms his creative ideas into actionable change.” He belongs to the ‘think-and-do’ school of changemakers. He intends to restructure Nigeria’s tax system to benefit Nigerians. “Give him a task, and he will complete it well,” the President added.
Tinubu wished the FIRS chairman strength and zeal in carrying out his responsibilities.
Adedeji, who was born on January 8, 1978, was named Chairman of FIRS in September of last year.
