However, City is keen in extending a contract offer that would pay him £600,000 a week.

Haaland, at 23, has a contract with the Premier League champions that runs through 2027.

Riyad Mahrez has decided to leave the Treble champions for the Middle East this summer, and City is well aware of the money on offer in Saudi Arabia as well as in Madrid.
