Shola Adegun has been named head coach of Sporting Lagos’ youth team.

Adegun is set to assume head of the newly promoted Nigeria Professional Football League side’s development squad.
The youthful strategist formerly coached Mees Palace Football Academy in Jos.

Adegun took over the U-15 team from Sanjo Olutayo.
He has also been a young coach at Barça Academy in Lagos and an assistant technical director at AS Roma Academy in Abuja.

Sporting Lagos will compete in the Creative Championship next month, as well as the National League One season in 2023-24.
