Taraba State Governor Agbu Kefas has stated that government is a team endeavor rather than “one man’s business.”
While on a tour of projects in the state’s Takum Local Government Council on Tuesday, the governor also emphasized the value of encouraging cooperation between local council chairmen and traditional rulers in tackling community concerns.
He emphasized the vital role traditional rulers play as community leaders and the importance of their contributions to the search for long-term fixes.
Kefas advised them to work with local council chairmen to refocus youth energies, while emphasizing the importance of including traditional rulers in decision-making processes.
The governor emphasized that community development was the primary goal of the programs.
According to them, traditional leaders from different regions of the state who went with him were hopeful that the projects will help the state by tackling different issues.
They praised the governor and General Theophilus Y. Danjuma (retd.) for their efforts and promised to continue supporting initiatives for growth.
