Funminiyi Afuye, speaker of the Ekiti State House of Assembly, has passed away.
On Wednesday, the representative for Ikere constituency 1 passed away.
The 66-year-old passed away at the state’s capital, Ado-Ekiti, at the Ekiti State Teaching Hospital.
Afuye was reportedly taken by ambulance to the hospital in the early hours of Wednesday.
The legislator was present at the governor-elect Biodun Oyebanji’s Thanksgiving Service on Tuesday.
