Posted by Manchester United forward Anthony Martial was seen leaving the club’s training ground after only four minutes, with his team due to face Brighton in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Daily Mail reports that Martial left Carrington training ground on Thursday morning.
The Frenchman arrived at the training site in his Mercedes G Wagon around 8:55 a.m., but was seen departing at 8:59 a.m.
The reason behind Martial’s abrupt departure from training remains unknown.
However, the 27-year-old has recently dealt with injury concerns.
Martial was unable to participate in Manchester United’s preseason due to fitness issues.
At the start of the new 2023/24 Premier League season, the forward returned to training and made the bench for the opening 1-0 win over Wolves.
Martial has since appeared in all three of Manchester United’s subsequent games, including a start in their 3-1 loss to Arsenal earlier this month.
During the summer transfer window, his future was unknown, and Manchester United were open to listen to bids for him.
Martial’s current deal with Manchester United expires in a year.
