Tinubu expresses his sorrow over the passing of Kabiru Fagge, a renowned broadcaster

The death of renowned broadcaster Kabiru Fagge, who passed away on Friday in the United States of America, has been reported by President Bola Tinubu, who has expressed his sorrow over the loss.

In a statement that was released on Saturday in Abuja, Chief Ajuri Ngelale, who serves as the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, provided this information.

It was reported by him that Fagge, who was 77 years old, was a well-known figure in the Hausa-speaking community due to his lengthy career with the Hausa service of the Voice of America (VOA), which spanned a period of 25 years.

Tinubu expressed his admiration for the dead individual’s outstanding contributions to the development of the nation, notably his efforts to raise awareness and advocate for education through the well-known weekly education show that he headed.

When he was still in school, he worked as a freelance journalist. It was during this time that he first became interested in serving humanity through media. We would like to express our gratitude to him for the services he has provided throughout his chosen career and for being a trustworthy representative of Nigeria on such a global stage,” the President remarked.

It was said by him that the President expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased, as well as to the government and the people of Kano State, and to the Nigerian journalistic community, on the loss.
