“Following the Biafra people’s demand for more sit-at-home civil disobedience, the Biafra Republic Government In-Exile (BRGIE) and Biafra De Facto Government In Homeland wish to inform Biafrans that a sit-at-home civil disobedience will take place from July 31 to August 14, 2023.”

“The immediate and unconditional release of IPOB leader Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, who is still being held illegally in the DSS dungeon.”

“In preparation for “Biafra’s self-referendum and to further alert the world that Biafrans are taking control of their future.”

“To delegitimize those who parade themselves as Nigeria’s representatives within Biafran territory.”

“The sit-in will thus take place in the following order: Monday, July 31, 2023 to Friday, August 4, 2023, with total lockdown in Biafraland.”

“From Monday, August 7th to Friday, August 11th, Biafraland will be completely shut down, with the exception of Saturday, August 12th and Sunday, August 13th, 2023, when all Biafran markets will be open.”

“On Monday, August 14, Biafraland would go into lockdown. We hereby call on all market leaders to strictly follow this instruction and to take it seriously.

“We also call on all oil companies operating in Biafran territory to suspend oil exploration on these dates in order to avoid the wrath of the Biafran people, which could have serious consequences.”
