Rangers midfielder Ugochukwu Ugwuoke is expected to have knee surgery.
Ugwuoke has been out for nearly two years due to an injury.
Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, head of the Coal City organization, made the news in Enugu.
The midfielder will have the surgery at an unknown specialist center in the state, according to the lawyer.
“Yes, management has decided to work the talk to see that Ugwuoke is back on the field to help us win matches,” Ezeaku told the press.
“This is a bundle of talent that cannot be squandered, which is why we decided to contact a top medical professional to assist with his nagging knee injury that is jeopardizing his career.”
“With the assurances we have, in less than six months, Ugwuoke Ugochukwu will be fully fit to defend the colours of Rangers again.”
