The appeal has become required in order to raise funds to offer necessary palliatives to mitigate the impact of Nigeria’s recent elimination of fuel subsidies. The sum of N500 billion has been withdrawn from the 2022 appropriation act of N819.536 for the distribution of palliatives to Nigerians to mitigate the impact of the elimination of gasoline subsidies. I anticipate that the House will consider the request quickly.”
