Monarchs working with foreigners to seize government property and grow hemp from India in Ogun – Gov. Abiodun

On Monday, Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, pledged to take serious action against certain monarchs in the state who are conspiring with outsiders to unlawfully appropriate government land for the purpose of growing Indian hemp.

The enraged governor went on to claim that the impacted monarchs and their friends participate in the devastation of state farms and forest reserves.

At the State Council of Obas’ Statutory Meeting, which took place at the Oba’s Complex in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, Abiodun made this statement.

“Our Kabiyesis are working together with individuals from outside Ogun State, giving them access to our plantations and land, and then going there and clearing them of their forests.” The plantation is being destroyed by them. There, Indian hemp is being planted. after I learned this news, I was devastated, and after we did some investigating, it turned out to be accurate.

Additionally, the governor emphasized that “anyone found guilty of such an act, be it Kabiyesi or any person, will not have any choice but to take disciplinary action against us as a responsible state government.”

He further hinted to the Obas about his administration’s intention to establish a dry port agreement with a private investor in order to attract more investors to the State.
