Posted by The Northern Senators Forum (NSF) has backed the demand for a comprehensive inquiry into the regrettable event and for those found guilty to face harsh penalties.
Governor Uba Sani made this statement on his verified Facebook page on Saturday. He added that the NSF, under the direction of Senator Abdul Ningi, traveled to Kaduna to send their sympathies to the state’s government and citizens in relation to the regrettable military drone incident that occurred in Tudun Biri.
He added that the forum gave the families of the people killed in this unfortunate occurrence N58 million.
“Through the efforts of the Northern Senators Forum, I was able to host distinguished senators from the Federal Republic,” he said.
Governor Uba responded by pleading with the Honorable Senators to thoroughly examine and modernize our legislation in order to bolster our security agencies.
He emphasized that in order to prevent such tragic events in the future, we must fortify our legal system and security measures.
He continued, “I expressed my gratitude to them for their support and unity with our people during this critical time.”
