The former Rivers governor, who shouted passionately during the flag-off ceremony for the renovation of existing roads in the territory, said the FCDA officials’ failure to properly arrange microphones at the event humiliated him.

According to Wike, such views are to blame for the deterioration of the nation’s capital, stating that if they can’t properly “arrange ordinary microphones, how will FCT work”?

The minister angrily admonished those involved that such “embarrassment” would not happen again during his public occasion.

“Let me express my displeasure to FCDA; it is unfortunate, and that is why FCT is where it is,” he remarked. If you can’t get a standard microphone to work? How would FCT function?

“It is a shame that we have reached this point, and let me warn all those who are concerned that this will be the last time I appear in a public function and suffer this embarrassment.” You leave if you don’t want to work.”
