CDS guarantees ongoing military joint training operations

In order to address instability in the nation, General Christopher Musa, the Chief of Defense Staff (CDS), has guaranteed the Nigerian military sufficient synergy and long-lasting joint training exercises.

This was said by Musa at the end of Mugun Bugu 2023’s second training exercise in Kontagora, Niger State.

The CDS declared, “The Nigerian Air Force has been integrated to provide air power and support to the ground troops in achieving these objectives,” through Major General Jal A. Jimoh, Chief of Doctrine.

In order to increase professionalism, he gave the Armed Forces the responsibility of being patriotic, devoted, and committed to their work while also acknowledging their tenacity.

The Chief of Training Army, Major General S.G. Mohammed, on behalf of the Chief of Army Staff, Lt Gen. Taoreed Lagbaja, urged the trainees to apply their newly acquired expertise to tackle insecurity in the nation’s diverse regional issues.

“Mugun Bugu training exercise 2023 has demonstrated the genuine commitment to producing highly versatile and intellectually sound military professionalism in the country,” the COAS continued.
