The business stated that it was examining claims concerning Mmesoma’s 2023 UTME examination results.

Osigwe stated that the investigation’s findings revealed that Mmesoma falsified her UTME results, noting that the discovery was deeply upsetting and goes against the ideals that Innoson Group maintains, particularly in relation to the scholarship program.

“In recent days, we have been involved in the process of investigating allegations surrounding the 2023 UTME examination results of one of our scholarship recipients, Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme,” according to the statement. Initially, it was stated that Miss Joy performed extraordinarily well on the exam, earning her a scholarship from our organization.

“However, subsequent reports of discrepancies in her UTME score prompted us to seek clarification from the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), and we engaged in direct dialogue with Miss Joy to allow her to voice her stance.”

“Additionally, a committee appointed by Anambra State Governor, Dr. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, conducted a thorough independent investigation into this matter.”

“The results of this thorough investigation have now confirmed that Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme tampered with her UTME results.” This finding is profoundly disheartening and goes against the values that we hold dear at Innoson Vehicles, particularly those that underpin our scholarship program.

“In accordance with these principles and in response to the confirmed findings, we have made the difficult decision to withdraw Miss Joy Mmesoma Ejikeme’s scholarship.” This action demonstrates our unwavering dedication to honesty, integrity, and merit-based recognition.

“We recognize that this development is regrettable, and it has no doubt caused consternation among those who supported Miss Joy, including her school principal and other well-meaning supporters.” However, maintaining the integrity of our scholarship program and the principles it represents is critical.

“Innoson Vehicles remains committed to helping deserving students, investing in the future of our education sector, and upholding the highest ethical standards.” Through our scholarship program, we have always been sincerely devoted to furthering educational achievement and safeguarding academic integrity. We believe in awarding excellent students who reflect the qualities of honesty, integrity, and respect for the processes that govern our educational system in addition to academic excellence.

“We thank the public, JAMB, the Anambra State Governor’s Committee, and all those who have shown understanding and support during this difficult time.” We are still dedicated to promoting educational excellence in Nigeria.”
