This was said by Soludo in response to inquiries from the media on Tuesday, not long after he saw Vice President Kashim Shettima in private at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The governor reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to ensuring the safety of people and property, calling Anambra one of the safest states in the union.

He claims that Anambra is quite composed. In terms of the security of people and property, I can assure you that it should rank among the top three.

Our top interests are law and order, security, and we don’t support touting or anybody else attempting to obtain money illegally, extort, or expropriate innocent individuals.

“Anambra is a commercial hub, and we do not tolerate miscreants who harass and intimidate others who enter the building.

“Our message to them is to simply come out if they need a job. We provide you with training and start-up money so you may start over and lead a new life.
