Posted by Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara vowed on Tuesday not to lose sight of his promise to improve the lives of youths.
Fubara spoke at the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) swearing-in ceremony for the 2023 Batch C Stream II.
The governor stated that his administration would ensure proper security and welfare for corps members stationed in the state.
The governor, represented by Hamilton Amadi, Permanent Secretary, Cabinet Bureau, Office of the Secretary to the State Government, committed to be firm and resolute in providing the best benefits of democracy to them.
“I am confident that with God on our side, we will deliver; we will never lose focus in fulfilling our promises to uplift the quality of life for the youths as the bedrock of our society and, by doing so, make Rivers the envy of other states,” he told the crowd.
