Celebrity chef Hilda Bassey of Nigeria has responded to the news that Irish chef Alan Fisher, who is living in Japan, has broken two records for the longest cooking marathon by a single person.
The Irish restaurant owner and chef Alan Fisher, who is based in Japan, smashed two Guinness World Records on Monday night when it came to cooking marathons, as the janescope has previously reported.
Fisher broke the previous record of 93 hours 11 minutes set earlier this year by Nigerian chef Hilda Baci, cooking nonstop for 119 hours and 57 minutes.
In addition, he exceeded the previous record of 31 hours and 16 minutes by baking for 47 hours and 21 minutes, setting a new record for the longest baking marathon.
Hilda Baci responded by congratulating him on her X page.
“Huge congratulations to Alan Fisher!” the writer wrote. As the new world record holder, I wish him all the best. 119 hours and 57 minutes is a tremendous accomplishment.
