‘He Has No Opinion Of Himself,’ said Buhari’s ex-aide, referring to Peter Obi’s deletion of the ‘Mr President’ comment

Former President Muhammadu Buhari’s Special Assistant on Digital Communications, Bashir Ahmad, has chastised Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s (LP) presidential candidate for 2023, for deleting a tweet in which he referred to Bola Ahmed Tinubu as Mr President.

Obi’s action rates are poor, according to Ahmad, because he can no longer control himself or his opinion.

According to sources, Obi, who is contesting Tinubu’s election as President, denounced the President’s 120-car motorcade upon his return from France.

“Allegedly showing Mr President moving with about a 120-car convoy,” Obi said on Twitter. While I have not seen the video in question, my advise remains consistent: sacrifices for a better Nigeria must begin with leaders at all levels of government.”

He later erased the message and replaced the ‘120-car convoy of ‘Mr President’ with ‘a trending motorcade video.’

Bashir stated in his condemnation of his actions, “That was very low. I truly feel sorry for Peter, the former Labour Party presidential candidate; he no longer has control over himself or an impression of himself.

“How can you delete a well-crafted tweet addressing your president as Mr. President simply because some of your supporters bullied and dragged you?”
