Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed, the Labour Party’s vice presidential nominee, claimed on Thursday that his party is not a direct beneficiary of the #EndSARS movement.
Speaking in an interview with Politics Today on Channels Television, Baba-Ahmed remarked that the Labour Party gains from peace in Nigeria.
He explained that the LP would fix the errors of poor governance and implement beneficial improvements in the nation if elected in the general elections of 2023.
While always supporting excellent administration, he declared, “we are opposed to attrition, repression, and all that.”
“We never wanted #EndSARS to occur, so we are not directly benefited by it.
We have never advocated for any Nigerian to be assaulted. So I can’t really say that we are direct beneficiaries and be glad about it.
