With the new plan, “we will change the modalities so that people will get their delayed stipends, include more people, and relaunch it with a renewed hope concept,” she stated.

She also mentioned that one long-term goal towards ending poverty in Nigeria was for the ministry to set up humanitarian hubs in all of the country’s 774 local government districts.

She said that in these centers, Nigerians may buy locally produced goods at reduced prices.

In addition to digitally recording the palliatives, the statement also claimed the ministry would deploy its workers to all local government regions to seek feedback.

The statement claims that the primary goals of the digital tracking of the palliatives are to ascertain when, where, to whom, and in what quantity they are supplied.

We also intend to bring on independent monitors to guarantee the relief supplies made it to people who needed them, so this is to ensure the transparent and effective distribution of palliatives.

“The ministry I lead will distribute cash to the impoverished and create jobs to help those in need in Nigeria.

“We will ensure engagement with the Nutrition Department, the establishment of Micro Small and Medium Enterprise, and the provision of stimulus to their business,” the statement read.

She gave the people of Nigeria her word that she would act quickly to alleviate their humanitarian situation.

“Nigerians should be rest assured that all existing empowerment schemes within the National Investment Programme will be rejigged to cover more people effectively,” it continued.

Edu promised President Bola Tinubu will make massive economic initiatives to help Nigeria out in the short and long term.

Nigerians, “please trust the process,” because “Mr. President has a huge economic plan for Nigeria, some with short term goals and some with long term goals.”
