Posted by Two commissioners’ posts have been switched in a modest cabinet reorganization by Katsina State Governor Malam Dikko Umaru Radda.
Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, the Commissioner of Youth and Sports Development, and Aliyu Lawal Zakari, the Commissioner of Rural and Social Development, swapped posts in a statement on Monday.
According to a statement Chief Press Secretary Ibrahim Kaula Mohammed signed for the governor, Governor Radda also gave his approval for Lawal Attahiru Bakori to be appointed General Manager of Katsina State Radio Service.
Bakori has taken over for the former General Manager, Abba Dayyabu Safana, who was named the Governor’s Senior Special Assistant on Public Engagement.
Before being appointed as the governor of Katsina State’s press secretary in 2003, Bakori started his career in 1988 as a program manager for the State Radio Service. In 2007, he was named the President’s Special Assistant on Media.
Later, in 2021, he was appointed State Radio’s Director of Programs, and on GL 16 he retired as Director.
