The declaration was made by the former governor in a statement that was approved by Christian Ita, his spokesperson.
The dead person was 54 years old, married, and had kids.
The family of Kakum in Obudu LGA, Cross River State, announces with great sadness the passage of Mrs. Ateb Janet Oniga (née Ayade) to glory.
“On Friday, November 24, 2023, she passed away following a brief illness.
Janet was a devoted Christian, a fearful woman of God, a loving mother, and a supportive sister to her siblings prior to her change.
She was incredibly lively, compassionate, and captivating. She will be missed by her family and everyone who knew her.
Ayade revealed that the funeral plans will be revealed shortly.
