The offer for the 31-year-old striker was over £100 million, and with incentives it reached £150 million.

Liverpool has reiterated that the Egyptian international is not available for transfer, and that decision is final.

Salah signed a new three-year contract with the Reds last summer after joining the team in 2017 from Italian side Roma.

Salah is “100% committed” to the Anfield cause, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp declared last week, and Klopp underlined on Friday that the player is not for sale.

The situation hasn’t changed. Without a shadow of a doubt, that is true. That’s just the way it is. Nothing else to add,” Klopp finally stated.
