Nigerian footballer Victor Osimhen has established himself as a top player for both Napoli and the Nigeria national team.
Osimhen began his career in the sport at an early age. He was born on December 29, 1998, in Lagos, Nigeria.
Osimhen began his professional career in 2017 with German side Wolfsburg after playing for Nigeria’s Ultimate Strikers Academy. After that he went on loan to Charleroi in Belgium and Lille in France.
Osimhen’s breakout season came with Lille in 2019–20, when he scored an astounding 18 goals in Ligue 1 to earn the honor of being named the league’s Young Player of the Year.
