We are seeking for a connection that will allow us to stand on the groundwork this government has laid.

It is straightforward; all that is needed is to start building on that base. There are important areas that require our attention.

For instance, the average usage in the power sector is over 40,000 megawatts. The power sector now has a foundation thanks to this government.

What is that base made of?

Critical resources and infrastructure are now being constructed. These infrastructure projects will be finished prior to our transfer in May 2023.

You mention the Mambila, Zangeru, and other hydroelectric facilities. These newly created vital resources will add an additional 4,000 megawatts to the nation’s grid.

When Asiwaju assumes office, the distribution network will be his main focus for power.
