Tinubu made me minister,” Wike says as he opens up about running for president in 2027

“The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, often known as the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has dispelled rumors that he may revive his bid for the presidency in 2027. Wike stated that because he abhors disloyalty, he cannot run against President Bola Tinubu, who is his boss. Wike is the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory.

Wike recalled how his never-ending pursuit of justice had led him and five other governors who were members of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to form the G5 in order to advocate for the transfer of power to the southern region of the country, despite the fact that he had maintained his allegiance to the Tinubu administration. Wike also mentioned that he had remained faithful to the Tinubu administration.

In an interview that took place on Friday in Abuja, the minister remarked that having a great character should never be compromised for the sake of politics.

He remarked, “Tinubu made me the FCT minister, and I won’t allow anybody to crumble our political structure.” He was referring to the fact that Tinubu had appointed him to the position. No!

“People don’t understand, but Tinubu appointed me minister. I have character. What will go place in the year 2027? I took a stand, and I said that I would not be a party to this injustice. I was warned that they would act in this way and that manner toward me. They experimented with a variety of strategies, including employing Major Generals.
