At Saturday’s National Identity Day celebration, Minister of the Interior Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo and acting Director General/CEO of NIMC Engr. Abisoye Coker-Odusote unveiled the Banksforte Limited-powered system.

The Managing Director of Barnksforte Limited, Dayo Bankole, recently spoke with DAILY POST about how the App would alleviate bottlenecks associated with NIN enrolment and name, age, marital status, and other NIN-related updates.

He emphasized that even people living in remote parts of Nigeria may download and use the app.

He predicts that this system will significantly impact NIN registration.

To avoid wasting time and money, people won’t have to travel to the National Identity Management Commission’s office just to change their names after getting married; instead, they’ll be able to do it from the convenience of their own homes using this new system.

“Once we have smartphones, you’ll be able to download the app, register, make any necessary updates to your information, and send it in for approval,” he said.
