According to the JANESCOPE  APC National Chairman Abdullahi Umar Ganduje officially launched the party’s national campaign team on Friday, charging them with mobilizing party members, studying party guidelines, and delivering Timipre Sylva as the party’s candidate.

In an interview with reporters on Sunday in Abuja, Nabena called on the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to clarify the rules it will follow during the next elections.

He insisted that INEC must inform voters of its plans to deploy BVAS and to transmit election results from the voting place.

According to Nabena, “Bayelsa State should be the primary focus of the security system. This time, INEC should make its intentions clear. Is it BVAS, or can we just do what we want and INEC will deal with the consequences later? There seems to be no plan of action. You are free to act in whatever way you see fit, and INEC will return at their convenience to deal with any consequences. They claim INEC told them they have no transmission power.

Voters need to realize that INEC is heading in this manner. In order to ensure that everyone’s vote is secure. No one from INEC will visit Government House to draft these documents.

“Tell us then, are you going to send the tally from the polling places. What else do you plan to do? Do you plan on utilizing BVAS? Describe the process from the very beginning. Let this serve as a standard, and agree that this is all there is. The courts will not rule that INEC can simply make up whatever they wish. Politics is the most lucrative industry on the planet.

Nabena, who was born in Bayelsa, responded, “We are going to win” when asked about the party’s chances in the upcoming election. We’ve accomplished this before, and we can do it again.
