Simi Reacts to the Lagos Government’s Transfer of 1.2B Pension Funds to Retirees

Simi, a Nigerian artist, has called out Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu following the payment of pensions owned by the Lagos State Government.
This comes after the governor paid Penson’s retirees N1.2 billion just days before the election. The singer expressed surprise that the government had the money all along but failed to pay it, only to show up a few days before the election to clear the pensions owing to seniors.
