In case you missed it, Governor Sanwo-Olu of the APC won the Lagos governorship election!
He defeated the well respected and adored Labor Party candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, often known as GRV, and the controversial PDP contender Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran, also known as Jandor.

To be honest, this is the most difficult election in Lagos history, as the APC was on its toes trying to keep Lagos running while youths across the state demand for change and demonstrate their support for GRV because they believe Sanwo-Olu is unfit for the race.

Indeed, many non-Yoruba residents of Lagos have stated that Lagos is a no-land, man’s but

Lagosians demonstrated that they actually own the land.

With the results of the February 25th Presidential Election in Lagos, and seeing how people voted heavily for Labor Party Peter Obi, Governor Sanwo-Olu of the APC knows that if things go the same way in the Governorship Election, it’s game over for him.

The Governor then took to the streets, campaigning at shops, markets, and anywhere else he could… He even campaigned at a church.

Governor Sanwo-Olu had a difficult time because of the Peter Obi wave.

Other politicians, I believe, will now see the importance and power of the people.

You’re done when they’re sick of your government and want you out.

The election has passed, and the APC Sanwo-Olu emerged victorious over the Labor Party.
