Posted by In the midst of their social media spat, Nigerian artist and producer Samuel Oguachuba, better known by his stage name Samklef, has promised to pray for Davido’s success in earning his first Grammy nominations.
Samklef complimented the artist and stated as much in a now-viral video posted on his Instagram page on Saturday.
“This is a unique post intended exclusively for Davido! As long as you don’t receive three nominations, I’ll be praying that you do. Sha, you have to come out on top. Furthermore, I appreciate that you haven’t sent anyone. You and I share a same interest. Again, congratulations,” he said.
According to janescope, Samklef tweeted a video of Davido and his wife Chioma leaving the hospital in Atlanta, USA, with their newborn twins as a way to congratulate them. This is when the two got into a fight. The animosity between them began in October.
In response, Samklef was criticized by Davido, who hasn’t yet revealed the birth of his twins, and he was eventually barred.
Following the event, Samklef has criticized Davido in a number of blogs for allegedly not paying the N1 million he is supposed to owe Mastermind, a student at the University of Lagos (UNILAG), who is one of his lads from 2020.
