On the other hand, the Speaker claimed that Governor Siminialayi Fubara had embezzled the money intended for the Assembly’s management in November.

He gave his word that the house would be prepared to carry out its constitutional duties in the face of unfavorable distractions.

In addition, the bill has been forwarded to the House Committee on Public Accounts for further parliamentary examination and hearings.

Since October, the 32-member house has been divided into two factions due to Majority Leader Edison Ehie’s impeachment, according to NAN.

Edison Ehie has only had four members, whilst Martins Amaewhule still has 26.
