Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ Hits Top 10 In Billboard Hot 100 Charts

Rema, the superstar Nigerian singer, continues to soar in his career after his song “Calm Down,” featuring Selena Gomez, charted at No. 8 on Billboard’s Hot 100 this week.
The song has steadily risen from 109 on Billboard’s 200.

This is a new high for the Nigerian music industry because it is the first time a Nigerian song has charted in the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100.

The song is also making waves on other platforms, most notably YouTube, where it has over 400 million views.

Rave & Roses, the artist’s album, has also remained the longest-running number one Nigerian album on Billboard’s Heatseekers Album Charts.

While this is Rema’s first Billboard entry, it is Selena Gomez’s ninth top ten hit.
