In Port Harcourt, River State, a gas facility along the Obirikwere bridge axis of the East West route was completely destroyed by fire.
The event happened on Wednesday morning at eight.
However, Federal Fire Service representatives showed up at the scene of the incident to put out the fire.
According to a fire department representative, the fire in the petrol station was started by a “leakage from a tank.”
Although the exact number of fatalities is yet unknown, eyewitnesses reported that the fire may have harmed at least three persons.
