The Blues’ 4-1 loss at Newcastle on Saturday has resulted in them conceding four goals in three consecutive games.
Their four victories in 13 games now leave them in 10th place in the league standings.
This season, Pochettino’s team has already given up 20 goals in the league, and the former PSG manager commented, “After we gave up four goals, like Manchester City, nobody is talking after us.”
We give up so much because we should be more focussed and focused. These days, we give up ambitions so quickly. We are disappointed by that for that reason.
We constantly discuss it and work to have a strong defensive line. It involves more than just the defensive line. It concerns how well we function as a team, as a group.
