In an effort to modernize Nigeria’s electricity infrastructure, the Abuja Electricity Distribution Company (AEDC) has named Christopher Ezeafulukwe as its new Managing Director (MD)/Chief Executive Officer.

This was announced in a statement released by AEDC Chief Marketing Officer Donald Etim on Saturday.
He mentioned that Ezeafulukwe had returned to work on Friday to improve power distribution in the nation’s capital.

Transcorp-led investors recently acquired a 60% share in AEDC, while the government of Nigeria still owns 40%.
Adeoye Fadeyibi was replaced by Ezeafulukwe.

He assured the FCT and its franchise territories that power would be increased.
