Jonathan Kweku Awote-Mensah, better known by his stage as Jae5, is a British-Ghanaian heavyweight producer and audio engineer. He recently revealed another thrilling sample with prominent Nigerian act BNXN (fka Buju).
The pair has repeatedly demonstrated their compatibility in the studio, where they have been seen working together on the cool song “Propeller,” which also included UK superstar rapper Dave.
On Tuesday, October 18, 2022, Jae5 shared an intriguing clip from an upcoming single with BNXN on Twitter. The brand-new sample, according to the Grammy-winning rapper, was recorded on the same day that BNXN recorded “Omo Elewa” (a snippet that was shared earlier, which was inspired by a funny video on the internet). Jae5 said:
Here is a sample from @BNXN’s second song. And on the day we recorded “Omo Elewa,” I did.
