For Man Utd, Lopetegui will sign two Barcelona players

Should he take over at Manchester United in the near future, Julian Lopetegui, a former manager of Real Madrid and Wolves, has reportedly requested for two players from Barcelona.

To strengthen the Man United team, Lopetegui reportedly wants to bring in Alejandro Balde and Ferran Torres from Barcelona, according to El Nacional.

The signing of Torres and Balde is one of the requirements that the Spain international has placed for his potential transfer to the Red Devils.

The 57-year-old is willing to take over as manager of Manchester United from Erik ten Hag, who is under fire following a subpar first half of the campaign.

Ten Hag’s team is presently ranked eighth in the Premier League standings.

Since then, Man United has eliminated itself from this season’s Champions League.
