To apply for an English-medium program, you must submit a score report from an English language exam; the TOEFL minimum score is 80 and the IELTS minimum score is 5.5. If you have an English proficiency certificate from your previous institution, you can apply without taking the TOEFL or IELTS.

For the Chinese Government Scholarship-Chinese University Program, please select Program Category Type B, which relates to scholarship programs managed by Chinese universities. After filling out the “Application Form for Chinese Government Scholarship,” please download and print a hard copy.
Next, register and submit your online application to the university through the http://admission.uestc.edu.cn/ International Student Application System. To apply, please complete the “Application Form for International Scholars and Students of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China” and upload it online together with the other required application materials. Then select the Chinese Government Program as your source of funding.
