Posted by Mason Greenwood, a forward for Manchester United, has signed a season-long loan with Getafe of Spain’s Primera Division.
After a six-month internal inquiry, United announced last month that 21-year-old Greenwood would be leaving the club by mutual consent.
It followed the dismissal of attempted rape and assault allegations against the athlete in February.
Greenwood “can now start the process of rebuilding his career away from Manchester United,” the Premier League club announced.
To Mason and his family, “the club will continue to offer its support during this period of transition.”
