He claimed that they used a wooden plank and a bottle to hit the deceased on the head in order to kill him.

The couple stole the deceased’s backpack and a phone, the prosecutor further alleged in court.

The defendants entered a plea of not guilty to the charges after being arraigned. Due to their pleas, Justice Sonaike mandated their continued detention and postponed the case’s trial date until November 29.

Last Sunday, November 2021, the juveniles on remand went to the RCCG Chapel of Resurrection on 13 Road, 6th Avenue, FESTAC Town.

They emerged during the altar call and made a commitment to give their lives to Jesus Christ.

After the service, they found late Dada and told him they were stranded and had nowhere to stay.

In the interim until they can assist them in finding housing, the church officials offered them use of the church facilities. It is claimed that they killed Dada when he was inside the chapel as a result of an attack.
