Another singer lamented Oladips in a video message posted on his Instagram page, Idowest, and mentioned that many other Nigerian celebrities were also dealing with depression in private.

“We are still grieving for Mohbad, and Oladips has now joined him,” Idowest remarked. Why did the boy die? despondency.

I’m going to add my own two cents now. Some believed Oladips was chasing clout and now he was dead as he talked about his troubles. It’s not just him. There are many among us who claim to be constantly depressed.

“I’ve been emailing my coworkers my music so they can help me distribute it on their social media accounts, but they never respond. They’ll start posting about me when I pass away. You guys all enjoy making love to the deceased.

On the other hand, singer Viktoh chastised people who said Oladips was pursuing influence when he was lamenting his poor health on social media.

“You can’t even retire from being a man for a few seconds to speak about the problems you’re going through without people thinking you’re chasing clout or weak,” stated Viktoh in a video message posted on his Instagram page.

“I thank God for my life, even though I have experienced my own. But everyone of you needs to call and follow up with them. May Oladips’s soul be blessed by God. It’s very depressing.

Rapper and on-air personality Nnamdi Nwabasili, commonly known as N6, also alluded to the claims made by many that Oladips was seeking influence at the expense of his health.

“Na why Man no dey Speak out,” he wrote. Hey, not even a day ago did you all say he was clout-chasing.

Adieu, OLADIPS.

Rapper Blaqbonez responded on X (previously Twitter), expressing his grief over Oladips’ passing.

He wrote, “Oladips, RIP. I was hurting so very, very terribly over this one. Someone’s album was meant to be released tomorrow, but it went to number one instead, and once again, the artist was not allowed to witness it. What a ridiculous existence.

Veteran singer Jaywon lamented, “Oladips this is too much,” over X.

Rapper Chinko Ekun wrote, “Oladips, RIP my beloved!” on his X handle.

Using his X handle to share a video of himself honoring the late rapper Oladips in one of his songs, Odumodublvck merely typed the late rapper’s name in capital letters and included a love emoji.

Oladips passed away at age 28. His management has stated that an announcement regarding his burial arrangements would be made shortly.
