Posted by Dove FC is a football team that was introduced by Pastor E.A. Adeboye, General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), as part of the church’s evangelism mission to divert young people from criminality.
Over the weekend, Dove FC was revealed at the Redeemed Camp in Lagos State.
The players, who range in age from 16 to 21, were chosen from each of the nation’s six regions in an effort to better prepare them for potential professional careers.
Pastor Adeboye cautioned the athletes to place less emphasis on money and more on serving God during his speech at the occasion.
“Winning is by God’s divine and not by might,” declared Adeboye. You need God on your side if you want to win.
The chairman of Dove FC, Prince Dapo Ajibade, added that the squad was founded so that the church might achieve unprecedented success.
“Dove FC will grow to become the biggest brand in the world by the special grace of God and with the support of the GO,” he declared.
