Applications for the NCTU International Student Scholarships 2023-24 in Taiwan are now being accepted. All International Students from across the world are welcome to apply for The National Chiao Tung University Scholarships for Fall 2023 in Taiwan. Students who want to study in Taiwan with a Fully Funded Scholarship should apply. This is Taiwan’s most prestigious prize for pursuing an Undergraduate Degree, Masters’s Degree, or Ph.D. Degree at NCTU. The scholarship is available for the 2023-2024 academic year.

Under this scholarship, NCTU university offers almost all academic subjects and majors. Taiwan institutions are offering around 2000 scholarships to those students who want to finish their studies here. The scholarship will pay nearly all of the costs.

Financial Benefits:

The NCTU International Student Scholarships 2023-24 in Taiwan will pay the following expenses for international students:

Scholarship for a Bachelor’s Degree:

Monthly earnings of up to NT$21,000 (US$700) Stipend and/or

tuition waiver on a monthly basis.

Scholarship for a Master’s Degree:

Waiver of University Tuition Fees

Monthly stipend of NT$22,000 (US$733)

Advisors will also offer assistantships to master’s students for research work.

Doctoral Degree Fellowship:

Tuition fee exemptions

A monthly stipend of NT$29,000 (US$966) per month Ph.D. students will additionally receive a research assistantship from their advisor.

Taiwan Scholarships – MOE, MOFA, and MOST:

Taiwan’s government is providing this scholarship (the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the Ministry of Science and Technology).

MOFA Fellowship:

Stipend every month: NT$30,000

MOE Scholarship: One direct round-trip economy-class ticket

Tuition and certain fees are waived.

Recipients may only study at universities that are members of the Taiwan Scholarship Program Union.

Primarily for grantees from MOE-designated qualifying nations.

NCTU Scholarship Eligibility Criteria:

Candidates must meet the following conditions in order to apply for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarship 2023-24:

Except for Taiwan, international applicants of any nationality are eligible to apply.

Applicants must be in good physical and mental health.

Candidates who have received any other scholarships are ineligible.

Applicants must fill out the application form correctly, honestly, and completely, and submit all needed application materials.

Candidates with a high school diploma are eligible to apply for Undergraduate Degree programs.

Applicants with a bachelor’s degree are eligible to apply for a master’s degree.

Students having a master’s degree are eligible to apply for a doctorate.

Documents Needed:

Before applying for NCTU International Student Scholarships 2023-24 in Taiwan, students must prepare the following documents:

  • Application Form Online
  • The highest degree diploma, authenticated by official              stamps.
  • The highest level Transcript 2 Recommendation Letters:          (This must be written by the candidate’s teacher, advisor,        or an employee).
  • Valid Passport Copy
  • The study schedule must be prepared in either Chinese or        English.
  • Language Proficiency in English: If the applicant’s previous degree was taught in English, they may submit an English Proficiency Certificate from their former institute.
    Thesis or relevant papers from academia (for Ph.D. program applicants).

The deadline to apply for the National Chiao Tung University Scholarships in Taiwan 2023-24 is March 15, 2023 for Fall Intake and September 30, 2023 for Spring Intake.
