Immigration chief cautions rookie police about corruption

Anthony Anene, the comptroller of the Nigeria Immigration Service’s Kogi State Command, has given the recently hired officers and men of the service an order to carry out their responsibilities without looking for personal gain.

During the Nigeria Immigration Recruit 2023 passing-out parade in Lokoja, Anene delivered the keynote address.

He thanked the recently hired officers and reminded them of the loyalty that is expected of them by the service.

Additionally, the comptroller reminded them that the Nigeria Immigration Service has a well-established procedure for handling disciplinary matters and a rewards program for officers who go above and above.

He also emphasized that the military was built on discipline and deference to authority, and he urged them to always act in line with the deeply ingrained custom.

In Kogi State, about 197 individuals were hired.
