On Wednesday, Sam Amadi, the director of the Abuja School of Social and Political Thoughts, claimed that Atiku Abubakar, the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) presidential candidate, was surrounded by people he called “straw men.”
The declaration came after news broke that PDP chieftain Daniel Bwala had visited President Bola Tinubu.
Bwala, a fervent opponent of the ruling All Progressives Congress, or APC, declared that he would continue to back Tinubu’s government and that he would not apologize to anyone for his choice.
Following their private meeting with Tinubu at the Aso Rock Villa in Abuja on Wednesday, he talked to state house correspondents.
“I told him today, and I have no apologies to anybody, I am committing to play my part to support your administration,” the man stated.
Amadi, who prayed to God to fortify Atiku, was not pleased with the development.
“May God strengthen you at this point, sir,” he wrote.
“Being surrounded by STRAW men is not easy.”
